youre such a fucking douchebag. serial killer in the making...

I recently tried using these USB 5v-to-9v boost converters https://www.ebay.com/itm/322639148365 , and they work pretty well. Didn't notice any noise or squeals from the ones I got.
You could easily power a handful of pedals using a power bank, USB Hub, and one converter for each pedal.
Only one thing to keep in mind: these come from factory wired for center-positive polarity on the barrel jack, so to use them with pedals, you have to open them and reverse the (+) and (-) wires. I'd say if you can change an output jack on a guitar, you can do this without issues.

Cool info! Btw, love the evh on the wall, man!

@6:53 With the USB, you can put matching LEDS on your pedalboard too😎 like your amps.

I bought my Voodoo Lab and PedalTrain back in 2009 when no major stores carried them. I walked in and they had no idea what I was talking about😂🤦🏻‍♂️

I personally wouldn’t cheap out on a power supply brick, but to each their own. I understand people are on a budget, but as the saying goes, “You get what you pay for”. I ordered a Donner DS-1. It had great reviews but it wasn’t isolated like it said (false advertisement), didn’t have varying Ma outputs (some pedals require a higher current draw like an MXR Reverb), and just felt cheap. I immediately sent it back. I don’t trust something like that as a reliable power source on my board.Voodoo Labs Pedal Power 2 is the best way to go,… Read more »

The Caline actually isn't isolated. Like a lot of the Chinese built power supplies, they say it's isolated but it's not. Generally if you plug the power from the wall into it with the same style plug as you power the pedals with, it's not isolated. An isolated supply will use the same style plug as an amp.

I have the Caline brick. The LED lights on it are actually individual circuit indicators. If one of the outputs goes bad, the corresponding LED will go out. Pretty cool. It's been on my board for about 6 months now and I've had no problem with it at all, even live with sketchy power issues.

When one of the sockets in Caline 5 blows up, the light associated with it will go out.

The Caline is good, it powers my board nicely.
